Spanish courses in Valladolid

 The maximum number of students per class and level is 6, our method guarantees personal attention. Students are in constant, direct contact with the teacher and the programme is taught with the interactive participation of teacher and students.
Our method is based on listening comprehension and oral and written expression. Owing to the experience we have gathered since 1975, we can ensure the best possible results in the shortest possible time: An essentially practical method that does away with the complications of a rule-based grammar and focuses on real, practical, everyday language.
Our students hear, write, read and speak Spanish from the very first day they arrive at Valladolid.

Course 20h
4 classes a day
Duration: min. 1 week
Group: máx. 6 students
Our intensive Spanish courses are designed for all students over the age of 14 wanting to begin or improve their skills in and knowledge of the Spanish language and culture. On the first day, students do a short test so that we can place them at the level that best suits their knowledge. Our language school has five levels: Beginners, Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced and Proficiency.
There are never more than 6 students in a group, which enables rapid, efficient progress for all in the four language skills: listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing.
Our intensive courses are made up of 20 hours a week in the morning or afternoon, depending on the time of the year and the level.
Course 30h

(4 classes in a group with max. 6 students + 2 classes in a super-reduced group or individual classes)
Duration: min. 1 week
Immersion courses are aimed at the Spanish students who have little time and need to progress in a relatively short time. We recommend this course to students who have a basic knowledge of the Spanish language.
The immersion courses involve 30 hours a week. After a short placement test, students are put into small groups of a maximum of 6 and receive 4 hours a day as part of the intensive course and, later, a further 2 hours a day in individual classes or in classes with a very small number of students.
 DELE- Preparation Course

Duration: 4 or 8 weeks
Group: max. 6 students
DIPLOMA IN SPANISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE COURSE (D.E.L.E.): Preparatory course for the Cervantes Institute examinations. Programme: specific contents in accordance with the three levels of the examinations -- beginner’s, elementary and advanced - and, as with all the other courses, special emphasis on listening comprehension and both oral and written comprehension and expression.
Depending on the chosen duration, the course begins 4 or 8 weeks before the exam. The course comprises 20 hours a week and the content is aimed exclusively at preparing students for the exam. We use only our own material and official past examination papers, with excellent results.
Similarly, since 2005, our Spanish language school offers a complementary course for students on any of the courses given at the school. This course adds 10 hours a week exclusively aimed at preparing the D.E.L.E., given in a timetable that is compatible with the main course.
1-to1: individual tuition
Our one-to-one courses are designed for students requiring a highly specialised and intensive course. These individual courses can be given on a standalone basis or as a complement to any of the other courses given at our language school.
The one-to-one courses adapt to the timetable and requirements of the student.
Summer Courses (groups)
20 classes a week
Duration: 4 weeks
Group: min. 5 max. 15 students
 Included in the price: language course, accommodation in a student residence at full board, social and cultural activities.
The summer courses offered at our school of Spanish in Valladolidl are aimed basically at groups of university and secondary school students.
They offer sound academic training together with a wide variety of extracurricular activities aimed at the full enjoyment of summer: trips out and about, excursions, sports, music concerts, outdoor cinema, etc.
Besides the classes and activities, the summer courses include accommodation in the university residences in Valladolid, with full board, for the four weeks the course lasts. Similarly, when groups include more than 10 students, an accompanying teacher from the institution sending the students, together with return transport from the airport of arrival (Valladolid or Madrid) to the city, is included free of charge.
 A + B. Beginner’s or false beginner’s level.
Programme: essential grammar, basic vocabulary, elementary conversation, language practice.
C + D. Intermediate or upper intermediate level.
Programme: Deeper knowledge of Spanish grammar, more complex structures, fluent conversation, written compositions, specific vocabulary, language practice.
E. Advanced level.
Programme: advanced grammar, with emphasis on the use of the subjunctive; advanced-level structures, conversation featuring idiomatic expressions, commentary of reading texts; vocabulary specific to literature, history, art, the economy, politics, etc.; language practice.
